Welcome to Bahrain

The International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS) and the International Association of Schools and Institutes of Administration (IASIA), in collaboration with the Institute of Public Administration of Bahrain (BIPA) are glad to announce that the 2013 Joint Congress of IIAS-IASIA will take place inManama, Bahrain from 1 to 6 June.

Call for papers

The congress will bring together academics and practitioners, PhD students and young researchers in public administration and management, as well as contributors from any other disciplines who will exchange on the following main theme “Futures of Public Administration: Professionalism and Leadership”
Different types of Call for papers are proposed to you.  Information can be found on the following link:

New this year, the newly formed IASIA Permanent Working Group on Diversity and Gender in the Public Service, the IIAS Project Group on Security and Safety and its call for Papers on Crisis and Contingency Management and the Kick-off Panel Introducing the New IIAS Study Group on Civil Service and Politics – New Political Governance.
